Terry Alan Crews born on July 30, 1968. He’s an actor, TV host, and former American Football player. His famous portrayal Julius Rock in the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, which surfaced from 2005 to 2009, and played Terry Jeffords in the Fox and NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine- Nine 2013-2021.
He also appeared in the BET reality series The Family Crews in 2010-2011, and hosted the U. S. version of the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire from 2014-2015.
He starred in movies, such as, Friday After Next in 2002, White Chicks in 2004, Idiocracy in 2006, Blended in 2014, The Expendables Series in 2010-2014, and Rumble in 2021. He started hosting America’s Got Talent in 2019, following his involvement in the same portrayal for the program’s spin off series America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Terry also portrayed as a defensive end and linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins, also in the World League Of American Football (WLAF) for the Rhein Fire and college football at Western Michigan University.
A public lawyer for women’s right and activist against sexism, Terry has shared stories of the abuse his family endured at the hands of his violent dad, and was also added among the group of people titled as, Time Person of the Year in 2017 for sharing stories of sexual assault during the MeToo movement.Terry was born, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Patricia Ann (Simpson) and Terry Crews. The amid child of 3, he grew up in a strict Christian household in Flint and Terry was raised by his mom, who was 18 year old when Terry was born. Terry’s dad was an alcoholic and violent to his mom.
His great aunt gifted him a flute, and learn for 8 years. In summer he joined, Interlochen Arts Academy and entered Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo on an art scholarship. Later, the freshman year, he tried his luck in a football team and Got a full athletic scholarship.
He was drafted by the LA Rams in the Eleventh round of the 1991 NFL Draft. Terry’s career included stints with the Rams the Green Bay Packers, the San Diego Chargers, the Washington Redskins, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Terry has also played for the Rhein Fire of the World League Of American Football at the season of 1995.
He moved to LA to pursue an acting career after the retirement from NFL. He had a long standing ambition to work in the film industry, but up until then had no idea to choose acting, he co wrote and co produced the independent feature movie, Young Boys Incorporated. A self invested production filmed in Detroit with an anti drug message, the movie based on his own experience, also as those of his homies and family.
In spite of explaining it as a horrifying film, he credits the observation with getting him interested in the acting industry.His 1st job in the arts was as a courtroom sketch artist in Flint, Michigan. He received an art scholarship from his college prior an athletic scholarship. Later he worked as courtroom sketch artist for WJRT. While in his football career, Terry supplemented his income by drawing portraits of his fellow players.
At times it was the only income on which Terry’s family depended, hardly getting $5, 000 for a two month commission. Terry work such as a series of NFL licensed lithographs. Terry believes his imaginative side has get itself to his acting work. Terry and his wife named, Rebecca King wrote a memoir titled Together: How Fame, Failure And Faith Transformed Our Lives.
Terry has written so many other books such as, Tough:My Journey To True Power. Terry has also wrote some kids illustrated books, such as, Terry’s Crew, and with Ken Harvey, Come Find Me, a story based on the adventures of two brothers, Anthony and Marcus, who are about on Crew’s Sons.
Terry is a devoted Christian. He met with his wife, Rebecca King when he was in a college Sophomore, she was the music minister at local church. The couple decided to marry and they got married on July 29, 1989. The couple have shared 4 daughters and a son, Isaiah Crews, also an actor, and one grandchildren. Terry released his autobiography, Manhood: How To Be A Better Man Or just Live With Ond, in 2014.
He shared his long standing pornography addiction in the book, which had truly affected his marriage life and his own life, but Terry had overcome around 2009 to 2010, after joining rehabilitation. He has taken an active character in speaking out about the situation and it’s impact, such as posting on FB in his Dirty little secret series.Many Hollywood actresses going official with their stories of sexual Harrassment, on October 10,2017, also by film producer Harvey Weinstein, Terry shared that a male hollywood executive groped him at a event in 2016, but he didn’t opened up the incident for fear of retaliation.

Terry sued Venit and WME for sexual assault. And some of eyewitness reported that Venit had gotten intoxicated, dismissed the groping as horseplay, and asked for sorry to Terry the next day. WME reacted to the Case, arguing that their response to Terry claims was both swift and serious.
Lawyer decided in March 2018, not to file any charges against Venit. City Lawyer’s office said that the statute of limitations to prosecute Venit has been expired, as the alleged charges was in February 2016, and Terry didn’t report it until November 2017.
Later, claiming that producer Avi Lerner attempted to silence him on the assault in term to retain his role in The Expendables film series, Terry Promised not to appear in any further installments of the company.
