Michael Bakari Jordan is an American Actor. He was born on, February 9, 1987. He’s very popular for, his film roles as shooting victim, Oscar Grant in the drama Fruitvale Station in 2013, boxer Adonis Creed in Creed in 2015, and Eric Killmonger in Black Panther in 2018, all of which written and directed by Ryan Coogler.
Michael, come again in his portrayal of Creed in Creed ll in year 2018 and Creed lll in year 2023; the latter also noticed his directional debut. He starred in Television, played Wallace in the very first season of the HBO crime drama series, The Wire in year 2002. He also portrayed Reggie Montgomery on the ABC soap opera All My Children in 2003-2006, and Vince Howard in the NBC Sports Drama series Friday Night Lights from 2009-2011.
His films such as, Chronicle in 2012, That Awkward Moment in 2014, Fantastic Four in 2015, and Just Mercy in 2019, in which he played Bryan Stevenson. Jordan. Michael’s family lived in Santa Ana, CA for Two years earlier shifting to Newark, NJ where Michael grew up. He studied at, Newark Arts High School, where his mother worked, and where he also played basketball.
When he was a student of Newark Arts, Michael was bullied by other students for his dreams to be an Actor and Model, additionally by future radio show host, Lore’l. But, Michael never took them seriously.
Michael began, working as a Child Model for many companies and brands, additionally Modell’s Sporting goods and Toys “R” Us, before planning to embark on a career as an actor. In 1999, he began his career as an professional Actor, when he played, briefly in single episodes of the tv series Cosby and The Sopranos.
His debut film role was in 2001, when he was featured in Hardball, which starred Keanu Reeves. He gained more fame in 2002, after playing the small but pivotal character in Wallace in the first season of HBO’s The Wire. He appeared in the cast of All My Children in March 2003, on the replacement of Chadwick Boseman, he was playing Reggie Montgomery, a troubled teenager, until June 2006 when Michael was released from his contract.
Michael’s other credits such as, appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Without A Trace, and Cold Case. However, he had a main character in the Independent film Blackout and starred in The Assistants on The N-. Michael appeared in the music album “Did You Wrong” by R&B artist Pleasure P in 2008.Michael started playing in the NBC Drama “Friday Night Lights” in year 2009, as quarterback Vince Howard, and he used to live in an apartment in Austin where the show was shooted. The show ended in 2011, and he played his portrayal till the 2 seasons. Michael played a movie which is produced by George Lucas, “Red Tails” he portrayed the main character Steve Montgomery in Chronicle, a film which is based on Three Teenaged boys who develop superhuman abilities.
Michael, guest appearance in the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode “Inhuman Society” in 2010, as a boxer involved in a Michael Vick Inspired Dog fighting scandal. The same year, he became as a recurring role on the NBC show, Parenthood playing Alex. This was his 2nd collaboration with Showrunner Jason Katims, who was in charge of, Friday Night Lights. In 2011, BuddyTV ranked him at the number 80 on there list of “TV’s Sexiest Men”.
In 2015, Michael appeared as Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, in Fantastic Four. The film was widely panned by critics, holding a 9% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and was a bust at the box office. However, in 2015, Michael rebounded with critical acclaim when he starred as Donnie Creed, the son of boxer Apollo creed in the 7th Rocky movie, Creed his 2nd collab with Coogler, which co-starred Sylvester Stallone.
He practiced hard for, his portrayal as a Boxer in Creed by undertaking a year of hard physical training by stringent low fat diet.
He thought to reteam with Coogler for the 4th Time in Wrong Answer, a film based on the Atlanta Public Schools cheating Scandal. Everything was settled for Michael’s appearance in a 2nd remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. Michael also signed for the Vampire Film, Blood Brothers. Michael’s production company signed a first look contract with Amazon, and also building Val-Zod, an HBO Max series featuring a Black Version of the DC Comics portrayal Superman.Michael always donates, to Charities, and hospitals.
Michael has inhabited in Los Angeles since 2006. He stated, he considered himself to be spiritual, and raised in a religious household. He lived with his mother and father in a Sherman Oaks house that he purchased by his own. He is a huge fan of anime, especially he like Naruto: Shippuden and the Dragon Ball franchise.
In November 2020, he began a relationship with model, Lori Harvey, who’s is a daughter of famous Steve Harvey. But due to some reasons the couple ended their relationship.
Michael shared as part owner of English football club AFC Bournemouth, in December, 2022. Michael, took the club over by the consortium group the Black Knights Football Club LED by fellow American Businessman, William Foley. Michael led the minority ownership group with Kosmos Founder Nullah Sarker.
