Forman and Park became intimate when he was cast in the 3rd season of Netflix’s Emily in Paris. He plays Nicolas de Leon, who becomes Park’s Mindy Chen’s love interest. Before going public with their connection, the two often shared images on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes pictures from shooting the show.
In December 2022, Forman shared on social media carousel of himself posing with cast members like Lily Collins, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery, as well as Park.
They sparked romance news after caught at a dinner party
In October 2023, Park and Forman showed some relationship reactions when they held hands at The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Dinner. They both went to the event together and stayed close the whole night.
Park — who was there to support her hairstylist Clayton Hawkins and makeup artist Jenna Nicole — introduced him to her friends and other guests. But, their reps did not comment on the connection at the time.
They both confirmed their relationship amid Park’s health scare
After a few months, in January 2024, Park revealed about a serious medical emergency she experienced when a bad case of tonsillitis turned into critical septic shock that affected several of her organs.
The couple were traveling abroad when she had to be hospitalized, and she credited Forman for helping her get via the difficult time in a sweet Instagram post.
“You calmed my fears and held me via ambulances, 3 foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she wrote. “I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.”
Forman commented on her post, solely writing, “My love ❤️.”
After sharing about her medical scare, Forman shared his concern on Instagram as well with a image of the both posing together and one of him holding her hand in a hospital bed.
“By your side, no matter what ❤️ @ashleyparklady,” he wrote in the caption.
Forman has also been supportive of Park in various ways, with the Joy Ride actress telling PEOPLE in her July 2023 digital cover story that her boyfriend — whose identity she did not validated at the time — was “so supportive” of her success.
“I’ve just never been with someone so supportive,” she stated. “And not supportive like, ‘Oh, that’s so cool for you,’ but who genuinely feels good when I do.”
She included that figuring out how to prioritize herself has helped her be more confident in the strength of her connection.
“I’m the person who wanted to give all of myself to other people, and that’s what made me feel fulfilled,” she stated. “I don’t want to be that person who is now this and is not available to be there for other people.
However, then I realize the people that I care about, whether it’s my boyfriend or my friends, will never penalize me for not giving all of myself to them. They want to secure myself as much as I want to secure them.”

In January 2023, Forman also put some light into the tight-knit group with a behind-the-scenes video of the cast’s time filming season 3 in Paris, showing how they goofed off in the streets of the city and attended parties together.
