The rumor sparked when the rapper, “Country Grammar” rubbed Ashanti’s belly at his Black And White Ball in St. Louis on Sunday, and Us weekly claimed the report that the duo is expecting a baby together.
Ashanti, who’s 43-year-old, will become a mother for first time, while Nelly, who’s 49-year-old, had two children with his Ex-Partner, Channetta Valentine.
Nowadays, a video is circulating on all over social media, in which couple can be seen on stage at the event, which was attended by following celebrities, Monica, Big Boss Vette and Bow Wow, when the “Foolish” vocalist rubbed Ashanti’s belly, Nelly consciously rubbed her stomach before she playfully batted him away.

The couple met in 2003, and dated each other through the 2000s, before finally separating for good in 2013.
Ashanti and Nelly reunited on stage lately in 2021, for Fat Joe & Ja Rule’s Verzuz battle. Recently in April, they two captured while holding hands at a Boxing match in Las Vegas, powering reunion rumors.
While attending the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, Ashanti sported a handbag printed with an image of the couple exchanging numbers at the 2003 VMAs, 20 years before.
Nelly confirmed the connection in September, and the couple went Instagram official in October when he shared in honor of her birthday. At a Halloween party a duo of days before Nelly’s birthday, Ashanti gifted him a customized Chevrolet Impala, a car referenced in his 2000 track “Ride Wit Me.”
